Questions Georgia families ask
When is open enrollment for Georgia Access in 2027?
November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Enroll by December 15 for coverage that starts January 1, 2027. Plans chosen after that start February 1.
Is Georgia Access the same as HealthCare.gov?
Georgia runs its own marketplace, Georgia Access, so Georgia residents enroll through Georgia Access or an approved enrollment partner, not HealthCare.gov.
Does it cost more to enroll with an agent?
No. Your premium is the same whether you enroll on your own or with an agent. The insurance company pays the agent; there is no advisory fee to you.
I already have a plan. Do I need to do anything?
Georgia Access can re-enroll you automatically, but plans and prices change every year. Review your options before December 15 so you are not surprised in January.
